This song was first played last week on Pete Tong's BBC Radio 1. It just recently seems like all the best producers in house music are remixing Swedish indie pop hits by Miike Snow. The German house maestro, Thomas Gold, follows up Dirty South's remix of "Devil's Work" with his own remix of "The Wave". His remix consists of a more uplifting melodic sound with big build ups, long synths, and pounding bass; it adds the progressive style that is missing to the original song like the other remixes.
