Dash Berlin vs. Above & Beyond – Disarm Your Sun & Moon (Dash Berlin Mashup)

This is an old mashup by Dash Berlin that I just discovered from listening to one of his live sets from last year. The dutch trance producer beautifully brings out the vocals of Above & Beyond's "Sun & Moon" and fits it perfectly onto the melody of their own track, "Disarm Yourself". Anyways, hope this is something new for you guys too.

Ferry Corsten's New Album: WKND

Ferry Corsten, one of the biggest names in the Trance scene, officially released his new album "WKND". Although Corsten claimed that in this album he is trying out different genres such as the electro house styled "Ain't No Stoppin'" to appeal to a larger audience, we can still hear his traditional trance roots throughout the album. My favourite track off the album has to be his collaboration with Armin van Buuren, "Brute", which was already first played a few months back. However, be sure to check out the other songs too!

Emma Hewitt - Colours (Cosmic Gate Remix)

A few months back, Armin van Buuren made a remix of Emma Hewitt's "Colours", and yes, it was superb. However, in my opinion, Cosmic Gate did a even better job at remixing this song. They brought out the vocals so much better than Armin did and I absolutely love the breaks and chords they used. Enjoy!

Producer: Wezz Devall

I just found Wezz Devall the other week due to his fantastic remix of Mark Otten's "Hyperfocus" that was featured on Armin's A State Of Trance radio show. After listening to it a couple times, I decided to research a little bit more into Wezz Devall and I found a few more beauties! His own "Future Tomorrow" is an excellent trance song that any fan of EDM would die for. Lastly, Devall's "The Big Adventure" is a great electro-trance fusion that is just simply perfect and it is easily one of my favorite tracks. Don't be surprised if you see Wezz Devall make an appearance in the next S2L Mix.

S2L Mix #3 - Sherman's Mix

No, Sherman did not mix this sadly. Sherman was a bit unhappy with the way I was cutting some song off early (so that the mix would not be too long). So I made a mix just for Sherman, with ten of his favorite tracks, and without the songs being cut off. Enjoy!

Gabriel & Dresden vs Secret Panda Society - No Reservations (Radio Edit)

Great new electro song from Gabriel & Dresden and Secret Panda Society. Gabriel & Dresden haven't produced anything for quite some time and it is nice to hear that they're back in the studio again. Their older productions are mostly trance, but the collaboration with Secret Panda Society, a dubstep group, proved to be quite the success.

Ziggy - Cosmic [Teaser]

Spinnin' Records never cease to impress me with new (or at least new to me) and upcoming producers. However, the teaser for Ziggy's Cosmic leaves me absolutely speechless and in great anticipation of the current March 19th release date.

Above & Beyond feat. Zoë Johnston - Love Is Not Enough (Maor Levi & Bluestone Remix)

A few weeks ago, Above & Beyond released Love Is Not Enough and I felt like the song needed something more. Maor Levi and Bluestone definitely fixed this with their fantastic new remix that gives the song a bit more "oomph" while retaining the beautiful vocals and characteristics of the original.

Dimitri Vangelis & Wyman – Roll The Dice (Original Mix)

After weeks of preview and some complications on Beatport in the last few days, Dimitri Vangelis & Wyman finally released their first single of 2012, "Roll the Dice". I loved their remixes from last year of Lo-Fi-Fink‘s "Boom" and Coldplay's "The Scientist" and I am sure this new single is just the start of a huge year for the Swedish duo.

deadmau5 - get in the october cart, pig.

deadmau5 released a track called "Maths" a few days ago, which did not really impress me. However, more recently he shared a great track with us on his Soundcloud, called "get in the october cart, pig." The beat and melody to this progressive tune has a great flow and completely brings back that old deadmau5 feeling we all love.

Swedish House Mafia Takeover - BBC Essential Mix

Armin van Buuren pres. Gaia - J'ai Envie de Toi

Every year, Armin van Buuren releases one or two songs under the name Gaia. It is an instrumental trance side project that he works on and the songs are often featured on the A State of Trance albums. This year, as a follow up to "Status Excessu D" from 2011, Armin produces yet another amazing trance track, "J'ai Envie de Toi". This song was first previewed on ASOT Episode 547.

Mat Zo's Bipolar Mix

Anjunabeats' British star, Mat Zo, is well known for his track with Arty "Rebound" from 2011. I was really disappointed to see him only ranked at #73 on the DJ Mag rankings last year. Ahead of his “Bipolar EP” release, Mat Zo releases an hour mix of awesome progressive tunes, wacky mash-ups, and tracks from the EP itself.

Sebastian Ingrosso & Alesso – Calling “Lose My Mind” (Preview)

"Calling", produced by two of my favourite House DJs Sebastian Ingrosso of Swedish House Mafia and Alesso, was one of the biggest tracks of 2011. Now we have two short but sweet teasers of the vocal version of the song. The first preview was shared last week through Ingrosso's Soundcloud and today, the followup to the first preview was released. Both of them are 25 seconds long, and if you’ve already heard the first one, the next one starts off exactly where the last one left off. We will keep you posted on its official release date. Enjoy!
