Porter Robinson & Mat Zo - Easy (Extended Mix)

The end of Trance Around the World was also the birth of Above & Beyond Group Therapy Radio. We're still finding amazing songs that were displayed on TATW #450/ ABGT #1 and Porter Robinson & Mat Zo's "Easy" is one of these songs. This collaboration proved to be amazing as Porter Robinson's amazing synths are coupled with Mat Zo's brilliant intricacies. Check it out!

The Killers - Runaways (Pierce Fulton Remix)

Pierce Fulton is another up and coming producer in the EDM scene. This week, his much anticipated remix of "Runaways," The Killers' first single off the new album Battle Born, was officially released. The young American beautifully combines the exhilarating vocals of Brandon Flowers with soft sounding synths that come after a smooth progressive house drop. Check it out!

Hard Rock Sofa, Matisse & Sadko, Swanky Tunes - Chemistry (Turn The Flame Higher) (Original Mix)

Wow, Sherman and I have been waiting for this collaboration for a very long time. Hard Rock Sofa and Swanky Tunes have come to be a regular pairing but the two Russian groups were joined this time by another Russian group, and another S2L favorite, in Matisse & Sadko. If I'm not mistaken, that means that there were seven different Russians involved in the production of "Chemistry." The song itself is a good, high energy progressive house track, although I must admit I may have expected too much from this long awaited Russian house collaboration. All we need now is for Arty to remix this and we might have the most Russian EDM song in existence.

Miike Snow - Pretender (Deniz Koyu Remix)

Deniz Koyu is another producer that has been on the rise in 2012. The German-born Turk has already released original productions such as the heavily supported "Bong" and "Follow You". Now, he's back on remix duties as he follows up his take on Zedd's "Spectrum" with the remix of Miike Snow's "Pretender". It will be hard to beat out Dirty South and Thomas Gold's remixes of other Miike Snow songs, but Deniz Koyu still did a good job with his light-sounding chords and signature bass line.

Dankann - Unika (Antillas Rework)

I have no idea what sub genre to list Antillas' rework of "Unika". It is a sublime mixture of progressive house and trance, and maybe if this was the way that the so called 'trouse' genre had been heading it may have had some more success. "Unika" is uplifting, energizing, and ultimately, hypnotizing. Antillas has created yet another fantastic track.

Swedish House Mafia feat. John Martin - Don't You Worry Child (Original Mix)

It is still hard to believe that the Swedish super trio are coming to an end. Swedish House Mafia finally releases their last single, "Don't You Worry Child". It features the vocals of John Martin, who also did the vocals for "Save The World", with both soft piano chords and the distinctive Swedish House Mafia big-room feel chords. Hopefully each of the three of them will continue to produce tracks of this level with their own individual projects!

Dirty South & Alesso feat. Ruben Haze – City of Dreams (Original Mix)

As summer is coming to an end, Dirty South and Alesso team up to produce a beautiful and emotional track, "City of Dreams". It features the euphoric vocals of Ruben Haze, which perfectly complements the guitar strumming. This track has definitely lived up to its expectations before the official release.

Zedd - Spectrum EP

This definitely has to be the most remixed track of the year. Zedd released his 'Spectrum EP' a few days ago off Beatport. It contains a number of remixes, ranging from Armin's trance to the hard hitting electro house of Gregori Klosman and Tristan Garner. Zedd also includes an acoustic version of the song to which he plays the piano to by himself!

Miike Snow - The Wave (Thomas Gold Remix)

This song was first played last week on Pete Tong's BBC Radio 1. It just recently seems like all the best producers in house music are remixing Swedish indie pop hits by Miike Snow. The German house maestro, Thomas Gold, follows up Dirty South's remix of "Devil's Work" with his own remix of "The Wave". His remix consists of a more uplifting melodic sound with big build ups, long synths, and pounding bass; it adds the progressive style that is missing to the original song like the other remixes. Be on the look out as this song will soon be released off Axtone!
